
Insurance

It was decided to enforce the documents with regard to the proper insurance being placed on the individual units here at Casablanca Isles. Therefore in accordance with our documents, under the Declaration of Condominium, page 17, Section 14.15, it states,
“Each individual Unit Owner shall be responsible for purchasing at his own expense, liability insurance to cover accidents occurring within his own Unit, and for purchasing insurance upon his own personal property and living expense insurance.”
The Board of Directors is enforcing this requirement, because we have had four (4) major incidents here on the property, which has cost the association thousands of dollars, we just do not have. By right we should be responsible for only our share, but owners who do not have insurance are costing us a fortune.
If you already have the proper insurances, you will need to provide the association with a copy of the Declaration Page for our records. This can be dropped off to Tom in the clubhouse, faxed to 561.375.7856 or mailed to the association directly. Because time is important, this information will be required no later than November 1st, 2007.
Please help us protect everyone’s interest and keep our costs to the minimum.
