The developer lawsuit, that was filed earlier this year, is still in the initial stages. There is a hearing to "abate" in October, as the developer has contested who the initial court documents were served to back in 2006. This process will be lengthy, but, the Board will keep you advised as it progresses.

The Beautification Committee is hosting a Community Sale on Saturday and Sunday, June 14th and 15th. Rent a table for $25 - proceeds to help beautify in front of Casablanca Isles buildings. If you participate we can start in front of your building. Anyone is welcome to rent a table. We will advertise in several community papers to attract business. Tables are limited...so please respond to this e-mail as soon as possible. So gather those items that you want to sell... any $$$ over $25 is your profit! Can't participate... we will glady accept any donations to help in this effort.

Once again, it is that time of year when we as owners must make the decision to either fund or waive our reserves for fiscal year 2008.
I am urging each and every unit owner to vote “YES” to waive the reserves for the Fiscal Year of 2008. In order to accomplish this we need a majority (50.01%) vote of the unit owners. In other words we need a total of 103 or more “YES” votes to defeat this measure. We know that many of you do not participate but for the sake of our pockets, you must participate in this decision. EVERY VOTE COUNTS! Please DO NOT ignore this letter, read it and respond with your enclosed proxy.

We will be haveing a community garage sale on Saturday November 10th from 7am to 2pm. Everyone is invited to participate. There is no charge for selling your items. Get rid of those old unwanted items and make some extra money for the holidays.There will be a sign up sheet posted in the Mailroom and at the Clubhouse. Please register so we can make accomodations in the club house area for you.

You may have noticed that the traffic pattern in front of building 7, has been changed throughout certain times of the day. On Monday through Friday, 9-4, vehicles cannot enter the property by making their first left onto the property from Boynton Beach Blvd. This is a measure that has been implemented to secure the West side of the property. All traffic headed to a building in that direction is now re-routed to pass the clubhouse. This is meant to deter "unwanted visitors."

ALL UNIT OWNERS:
I have filed a claim for the entire property with the CPRC (Consumer Plumbing Recovery Center). In case you are not familiar with this claim, there was a class action lawsuit against Shell Oil, whose products were used to manufacture the polybutylene piping in our buildings. Since, the piping has been banned. There is still money in the fund and you are entitled to it. But, you must file a claim individually using the attached form. Fill out the form and fax it to CPRC.
*Click documents on our homepage and it will bring you will find the claim form in the "misc. category".

As many of you know, Joan Bynoe our president since the turn over, has resigned her position as president of the association. As a result Mark Hilton has resigned his position as director and is now our new president. This leaves us with a vacant director's position.
