See extended text...

1) Safe Area – There is no safe area on the property. Residents will find that the best place to be during the hurricane is an inside area surrounded by walls, such as bathroom or hallway where there are no windows or doors to the outside. The clubhouse will be available after the weather event where there will be a grill. No generator, however, is available.

2) A First Aid Kit is available at the clubhouse.

3) Residents and tenants must secure TV dishes.

4) If a resident wishes to secure their unit with plywood, it is permitted. However, any holes in the structures must be repaired or the Association will repair at the owner’s cost.

5) Maintenance will secure golf cart and loose objects that can be stored in the maintenance room.

6) All residents should close and lock all windows.

7) Residents should place towels on window seals and at the bottom of doors to absorb water that may result from blowing rain.

8) Residents should close all faucets and unplug all appliances from wall sockets.

9) In the event there is roof or other damage, the manager has made arrangements with the roofer to be here immediately after the storm event to tarp roofs to minimize inside damage.

10) If it is ordered by a government agency to evacuate, the Association is advising to follow that mandate.

11) There are very few owners who reside on the property; therefore, the possibility of setting up building captains is impracticable. The Association is recommending you stay in touch with your neighbors for news updates and to help one another in the event of an emergency.

12) Residents must remove loose objects from patios once the hurricane is imminent.

13) Vacant units must be inspected, by owner or representative, for damage after the hurricane is over.

14) Structural damage must be reported to the association, as soon as management becomes available.
